Pianist Marian McPartland (1918-2013), born in England, became famous in the 50s in the US by her performance in important clubs. From 1978 various of her albums were released on the Concord-label, including some with alto saxophone player Jerry Dodgion. Today, a selection of this Marian McPartland Quartet.
