Festival Oude Muziek 2018
Next to ‘L’homme armé’ there is a melody which was part of the favourite songs of the Burgundians: ‘De tous biens playne’. This concert consists of instrumental arrangements of this song, by Van Ghizeghem, Busnois and Agricola. Deceptively simple music which, due to its complexity, is rarely performed.

B) Vokalprojekt 31 – Renaissance & the 21st century
Vokalprojekt 31 is a pioneering ensemble of vocalists and is specialist in the execution of the 31-tone music from the Renaissance, early Baroque and the present century. In this concert the group will sing madrigals by the Italian composer Nicola Vicentino and brilliant madrigals by Carlo Gesualdo. Work from this century is also broadcasted, often inspired by 16th and 17th century music.
