The two musical personalities of Johannes Hellman.
When he was eighteen, hurdy-gurdy player Johannes Geworkian Hellman from Sweden started the trio Garizim, with whom he traverses the borderlands between Scandinavian tradition and jazz. On Tuesday 14 May the trio will give a short performance in Amsterdam, at the Sweelinck Conservatorium. With the duo Symbio, Hellman treads on more conventional but equally exciting paths. Their second album Rising was recently released.
