Charles Ives VII.

The American composer Charles Ives lived from 1874 until 1954. His works were hardly ever performed during his life. But today he’s seen as the first American composer of international importance. Every first Thursday of the month we have a new episode about this enigmatic figure. Today we pay attention to the religious works of Ives, with a number of psalm arrangements a.o.
