L’Esprit Baroque

The baroque spirit in all its musical shapes. We do not often hear music by George Frideric Handel’s contemporaries, even their names do not sound familiar. Yet, their music is worthwhile. In this programme, we will introduce three of them: Charles Avison, Thomas Augustine Arne and William Boyce.
