The Palace of Nostalgia

Today, the Palace is on a travel through time featuring: Noël Coward (‘A room with a view’), the Dave Brubeck Quartet, sensual Eartha Kitt who sings about dispelling boredom; Jasperina de Jong’s song ‘Een pilletje voor de pep’, the Jazz quartet and soul guitarist George Benson.

Music of ‘La Dolce Vita’, brilliant but tormented trumpeter Tony Fruscella, ’the incomparable’ Hildegarde (‘who sings the way Greta Garbo looks’) and ‘Hot Horn’ trumpeter Harry James.

The Palace also features Peter Sarstedt, Woody Herman and his band, Milly Scott (Mama put out the light’), Helmut Zacharias (‘Bei dir war es immer so schön’), Nancy Wilson with George Shearin.
