Ignoring popular trends and commercial considerations, Texas-born artist Jim Moon creates uncompromisingly dark and obtuse electronic music as Taxxess. Through a series of underground Bandcamp releases, he has gradually established a firm reputation for himself as an ‘outsider’s outsider’, a unique and rebellious soul, and a creative force to be reckoned with. Drawing from a wide range of outer fringe musical styles, he nevertheless shows an innocent fascination with pop that peeks through at unexpected moments. https://taxxess.bandcamp.com/album/resistance-fatigue
Radboud Mens is a sound-artist, composer and sound designer. Next to his solo work, he has worked with a broad variety of artists, including Stephan Mathieu, Janek Schaefer and Timebllind, voice-artist Jaap Blonk, guitarist Dan Armstrong (as Fitness Landscape), Michel Banabila, Mark Poysden (as Alignment), Craig Ward (ex-Deus), and Matthijs Kouw. https://radboudmens.bandcamp.com/music
Jeff Düngfelder aka Ümlaut is a multidisciplinary artist living in New York working in sound, film, photography and design. Absence and silence; the ineffable exchange between viewer and image; and random moments of stillness captured within a changing landscape are the thematic concepts of his work. His fusion of digital clicks & cuts, occult beats, organic grooves, and field recordings, augmented by the element of chance, create the distinctive electronic textural sounds for his recordings and experimental films. https://umlaut.bandcamp.com/
Autistici is a UK electronic music composer who is based in Sheffield (UK). Autistici’s work incorporates a wide range of sources including textural sound design, orchestration, space and fragments of found sound or field recordings. Tracks focus on representing details from both the natural and manmade world. Each detail has the potential to be preserved or lost, clarified or confused. This means that any audio element, including elements from his own body become incorporated into the composition. https://autistici.bandcamp.com/album/attaching-softness
All Steamed Up is the latest album in an ongoing collaboration between Mitt Gamon and Martin Walker, featuring live performance and intricate electronic production. Released as a Digital Album via Bandcamp, the eight tracks feature guest musicians Nico Ramsden & Paul Simmans on guitar, and Joanna Saul on violin. https://yewtreemagic.bandcamp.com/
Wil Bolton’s work uses guitars, acoustic instruments, vintage keyboards and effects to create warm and emotive melodies, fragmented and submerged among beds of droning ambient textures and environmental sounds. https://ab-wil-bolton.bandcamp.com/album/kochi
Distant Fires Burning.
Gert’s musical outlet always represented a very diverse palette of musical genres. He started out as a bass-player for rock, thrash, funk and pop bands. In 2007 Gert started to experiment with ambient and it became clear that Distant Fires Burning was the vehicle for a very personal expression and one in which the bass guitar re-entered as the primary source. Distant Fires Burning is Gert’s expression through bass – enhanced and manipulated to create a very unique and personal sound. http://www.distantfiresburning.com/
