Composers are often inspired by existing music, but that does not mean that nothing new can be created.
In this broadcast, we will hear eight pieces based on composers who died a long time ago. Their existence lies in the canonical piano repertoire, varying from Schubert to Liszt. The Australian pianist Ian Holtham, plays all pieces of the contemporary composers who are all connected to the conservatory in Melbourne.
