In today’s episode of The Palace, we have a lot of jazz. We have pianist Bill Evans with his composition ‘Very Airy’ we also have the Swedish jazz diva Monica Zetterlund in ‘It could happen to you’.
We also have guitar virtuoso Les Paul glittering with his trio in ‘Blue Skies’.
Furthermore, we have ‘The world’s greatest drummer’ Buddy Rich with a drumming thunder and as a singing jazz musician, and Jack Teagarden (with his beautiful worn-out voice) and we have the vocal trio: Willie Smith, Joe Thomas and Sy Oliver.
Additionally, we have Aafje Heynis, Perry Como in his latter days with a contemplative song about happiness in life, Greta Keller shows a young lover out (‘Geh schlafen mein Junge’).
Finally, we have Mildred Bailey with the large-handed piano player, Sarah Vaughan, Frank Sinatra, June Christy, and trumpet player Thad Jones with his composition ‘One more’.
