Composer Frank Bridge (1879-1941) has done many things. His massive oeuvre is astonishingly varied, from well-composed light music to megalomaniacal military music for the arms race of the First World War, from refined miniatures for strings to stage music. And for the final number of the show, we’ll listen to a spectacular virtuoso piano etude.
