Episode 936. On Monday and Tuesday, Bach Ad Infinitum concludes the Passiontide with something special: the Judas Passion by Egon Kracht from 2010.
In the tradition of J.S. Bach, double bass player and composer Egon Kracht performed the Judas Passion in 2010: a new Passion based on the Gospel of Judas Iscariot, which was rediscovered in 2005.
The Judas Passion’s libretto is by the recently deceased Dutch cabaret artist, painter and text and songwriter Jeroen van Merwijk.
