Prisma String Trio from the Netherlands has released an exciting CD. It features the rarely played but still monumental String trio Op. 105 by Florent Schmitt (1870-1958); it also features an edited version of the intimate piano suite ‘La Muse ménagère’, composed by Darius Milhaud (1892-1974), who was grateful for his wife, Madeleine.
