Tower of Power
In 2017 the über funk band Tower of Power celebrated its 50th (!) anniversary. They celebrated this milestone in the Fox Theater in Oakland, and this was a reason for all of the former hippies from Haight-Ashbury and its surroundings to come out of their squats and tepees.
