Music from the 18th century. This episode is dedicated to Josef Mysliveček(1737-1781), a composer born in Bohemia who had a lot of success as an opera composer in Italy. His operas were performed throughout all of Europe.
Mysliveček also composed solo concerts, orchestral music and chamber music. This hour features examples of these genres.
