Series Jordi Savall

Series about and with Catalan gambist and conductor Jordi Savall. In this episode, we select a number of recordings from the double CD “Guerre et Paix 1614-1714”, some of which have not been heard in our series before. They include works by Rosenmüller, Schein, Caldara and the unknown Russian baroque composer Vasily Titov.

Next is the completely different and subdued consort music by William Lawes.
