Léo Albert Charles Antoine Ferré (born in Monaco in 1916) was a poet, writer, composer, pianist and singer. He was a dynamic and controversial person. 5- Pablo Milanés.
Along with Silvio Rodriguez, Pablo Milanés was one of the pivotal figures in Cuba’s ‘nueva trova’, a popular music movement of the 1960s. Pablo Milanés rose to fame for his poetic lyrics and smooth, emotional vocals, becoming one of the most popular Cuban singer-songwriters of the late 20th century. He is a controversial figure to some — exiles despise his support of Fidel Castro — but his status as one of the most important links between traditional and contemporary Cuban music has remained virtually untouchable in the new millennium. 6- Felix Leclerc.
Felix was born in 1914 in La Tuque, Quebec, Canada. He held various jobs before becoming a radio announcer in Québec City between 1934 and 1939, and as a writer at Radio-Canada in Montreal. In 1950, he was discovered by the Paris impresario, Jacques Canetti, and performed with great success in France. In 1953 he returned to Quebec.
