Concertzender Live

Concerts from around the country, recorded by Concertzender

In August 2017, a very young Dutch trio consisting of Duña ‘t Hart, Elise Karen Tavenier and Kalle de Bie played Mozart’s grand and impressive Divertimento KV563 in the Rutgers & Posch concert hall. This is by no means diverting music, but a broadly dramatic work that can compete with the finest string quartets by the master.

In the autumn of 2016, the microphones were in the Grote Zaal of Muziekcentrum Tivoli/Vredenburg for the duo Ranganathan/Fernandez, who have their musical roots in Poland, India and Spain. They play on a violin with gut strings and a fortepiano sonatas by Dussek, Mozart and Rust.

To conclude this broadcast of live chamber music, listen to the Yako Quartet from Lyon. The four young French musicians will be playing Mendelssohn’s sixth string quartet for you.
