An Early Evening Stroll takes us across the ocrean to the U.S. where we listen to two romantic piano quintets by female composers who fought against the supression in music. Amy Beach(1867-1944) was oppressed for being a female and in addition to that, Florence Price (1887-1953) had to deal with her Afro-American heritage.
