INDIA: London fusion scènes, Baluji Shrivastav (feat: Hossam Ramzy, Andy Sheppard & Guy Barker).
Like an extended jam session, this album relatively freely combines Indian sounds mainly with a saxophone. Baluji Shrivastav has been active in London’s fusion scenes for a while now. Here they fuse jazz and Indian music, along with elements from Middle Eastern music. Hossam Ramzy provides some Egyptian percussion. Guy Barker and Andy Shappard take care of the brass and add the accentuation needed.
