The New York group, an icon of contemporary klezmer, celebrates its thirty-year anniversary with a new album entitled Apikorsim – Heretics and a world tour.
Apikorsim is the group’s first album in six years, but then again, it did take two years to make. The members of the band are quite dedicated, since almost all of them were part of the original group. Only drummer Richie Barshay joined the band a few years ago.
The group consists of
