Episode 1267. In this new Bachweek, we continue our exploration of the cantatas in chronological order. We’ve now reached the cantatas Bach composed in the late summer and autumn of 1724. Kicking off this segment is the cantata “Allein zu dir, Herr Jesu Christ” BWV 33, which Bach wrote for the 13th Sunday after Trinity on 3 September 1724.
