Episode 1271. In this new Bachweek, we continue our exploration of the cantatas in chronological order. We’ve now reached the cantatas Bach composed in the autumn of 1724, In today’s episode: cantata “Herr Gott, dich loben alle wir” BWV 130, which Bach wrote for the Feast of St Michael (Michaelistag) on 29 September 1724.
