Episode 1289. We continue our exploration of the cantatas in chronological order. We’ve now reached the cantatas Bach composed in December of 1724 and January of 1725. We’ll kick off with chorale cantata “Jesu, nun sei gepreiset” BWV 41, for New Year’s Day on 1 January 1725.
