Episode 1394. In this Bach week, we will continue our chronological approach to the cantatas, and will hear cantatas from 1729. The new CD by Benjamin Alard is also featured. Today’s playlist includes the cantata “Ich liebe den Höchsten von ganzem Gemüte” BWV 174, composed for Whit Monday in 1729. We will also play the single released by organist Pietro Paganini in this hour!
