In the second episode of An Early Evening Stroll about Schubert’s music for piano for four hands, we will focus on his Divertissement á la Hongroise, D918. This work – also known as an arrangement for solo piano – was among his favourite compositions in Schubert’s time. But we will also focus on smaller sized music, such as the Fugue in E minor, D952.
Schubert’s works are performed in turns on historical fortepianos and modern grand pianos.
