Every third Tuesday of the month, “An Early Evening Stroll” revolves around Englishman Frank Bridge (1879-1941). Bridge himself played a lot of chamber music as a violist and violinist. He also liked to compose music for string quartets and piano trios, and he did it well. The composition contest devised by wealthy businessman and amateur violinist Walter Cobbet was an extra incentive for him.
