Each workday a programme about the oeuvre of Johann Sebastian Bach with producer Govert Jan Bach and host Joop van Zijl. Episode 211. This week the focus is on the concert series of the Nederlandse Bachvereniging (Dutch Bach society) with the Requiem of Biber.
We also pay attention indirectly to ‘Nederland leest’, an anual campaign of Dutch libraries to distribute a much loved Dutch book to its members for free. This year it is the book Een vlucht regenwulpen by Maarten ‘t Hart (image).
