The Dutch violinist Lucy van Dael is one of the most important pioneers on the baroque violin. She worked with Gustav Leonhardt, Frans Brüggen, Ton Koopman, Sigiswald Kuijken, Wieland Kuijken and Barthold Kuijken. Together with Frans Brüggen she founded the Orchestra of the Eighteenth Century.
