Episode 869. This week, we hear cantatas and keyboard music of Johann Sebastian, and music of his son Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach. Of Johann Sebastian Bach we hear Cantata “Es erhub sich ein Streit” BWV 19 and the 2nd Violin Partita (the latter in preparation for the version of Arno Bornkamp, which will be played tomorrow). In between, we hear a part of Organ Concerto Wq.34 of Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach.
