Bach Ad Infinitum

tue 13 apr 2021 13:00 hour

Govert Jan Bach’s weekday programme about the oeuvre of Johann Sebastian Bach.

Episode 937. On Monday and Tuesday, Bach Ad Infinitum wraps up the Passiontide with something special: the Judas Passion by Egon Kracht from 2010.

In J.S. Bach’s tradition, double bassist and composer Egon Kracht brought the Judas Passion to you, a new Passion based on the Gospel of Judas Iscariot rediscovered in 2005.
The Judas Passion’s libretto was made by the recently deceased Dutch comedian, painter, and songwriter Jeroen van Merwijk.
