Episode 1272. We continue our exploration of the cantatas in chronological order. We’ve now reached the cantatas Bach composed in the autumn of 1724. In today’s episode: cantata “Ach, lieben Christen, seid getrost” BWV 114, which Bach wrote for the 17th Sunday after Trinity on 1 October 1724.
