Episode 1275. We continue our exploration of the cantatas in chronological order. We’ve now reached the cantatas Bach composed in the autumn of 1724. In today’s episode: chorale cantata “Schmücke dich, o liebe Seele” BWV 180, which Bach wrote for the 20th Sunday after Trinity on 22 October 1724.
