Trumpet player Freddie Hubbard (1930-2008) made a name for himself as new jazz talent after coming to New York, and he worked with among others drummer Max Roach and tenor Sonny Rollins. From 1960 he made albums under his own name for Blue Note, and here you can listen to the result.
