In the shadows of flourishing violin sonatas: two violin sonatas rediscovered.

The second violin sonata by Gabriel Fauré’s Violin sonata no.2 and Reynaldo Hahn’s Violin sonata in C major remained in the shadows of better-known works from the same period for a long time. Violinist Elena Urioste and pianist Tom Poster beautifully showcase these compositions.
