In the 19th episode of Bonum Est we pay attention to the CD "Notker Balbulus". Notker was a monk who lived in Saint Gall (Switzerland) from approx. 840 to 912. Several of Notker’s sequences have been preserved. You will also hear tropes and Gregorian Chant from Saint Gall. And you will hear a melodious reconstruction of the so-called ‘Ludwigslied.’
