Part one of a two-part series on Marie Laforêt
The now 77 year old actrice, writer and singer Laforêt had some great hits with chansons like Les vendanges de l’amour and Il a neigé sur yesterday, but specialised in the less commercial folk music. She especially loves music from Sout America. In her homeland, she often works with orchestra leader, composer and arranger, André Popp.
Today we play her repertoire from between 1959 and 1970.
