Music by Dutch composers or performers. Dutch music in the 20th and 21st century, episode 4.

There is French impressionism, German Romanticism, and the distinctive Italian bel canto. Many countries have their own ways to express themselves, which also leads to a stilistic identity. An expert can even tell the difference between North German Baroque and French Baroque. What about the Netherlands?

Is there something like a “Dutch” style, and if yes, what does it entail? In Dutch music in the 20th and 21st century we will search for the Dutch identity.
