Jimmy Noone (c. 1895-1944) part 2. He was one of the first great clarintetists in jazz. He made most of his recordings in Chaicago. Today we will broadcast more recordings made with the orchestra of Doc Cook, followed by singer Lillie Delk Christian and the first recordings from Jimmy Noone’s own band, the Apex Club Orchestra.
