Joe Venuti (1903-1978) was the first prominent jazz violinist (part 7). He formed a pioneering and successful duo with his colleague and friend guitar player Eddie Lang. Today, music by orchestras and vocalists that Venuti hired for the occasion, but we also play productions from his own name. Recordings from 1931 and 1932.
