The fourth, and final, episode on trumpet player Jimmy McPartland (1907-1991).
In 1929 he joined Ben Pollack’s band with Jack Teagarden and Benny Goodman and made many recordings under the name Whoopee Makers. From ’40 McPartland had a second career in the Dixieland-scene.
