Old style Jazz. In the Netherlands, collecting jazz recordings began in the 1920s. The very first jazz lovers had to do without discographies and other informative books. André van Roon was one of the pioneers, and one of the first to systematically build up knowledge about jazz musicians and their records. He gladly shared this knowledge with others.
