Old style Jazz
Red Nichols (1905-1965) played cornet in several bands and led many of his own jazz groups.
In 1925, he left the California Ramblers and started working as a free-lancer. He accompanied Cliff Edwards on LP and recorded with Sam Lanin’s bands.
