Concertzender Live On stage: Alison Krauss and Union Station
Because of the coronavirus measures, the Concertzender Live team cannot present new concert recordings to you. This is because all of the venues are closed, and any gatherings in large groups are prohibited. While these measures remain in force, we offer you an alternative. To stay in the spirit of the programme, you will hear live recordings of concerts, but they are recordings published officially on CD or DVD. American singer and violin player Alison Krauss and band Union Station will get the premier. Krauss is one of the great stars in the Americana, country and bluegrass and she has won many Grammys. Union Station is a tight, reliable support band with conductor and dobro virtuoso Jerry Douglas, guitarist/singer Dan Tyminski, guitarist/banjo player Ron Block and double bass player Barry Bales. Their live album Live was released as a double CD in 2002.
