29-year-old Martin Oei shone at the concert on 17 March 2025 in the Concertgebouw Amsterdam’s Recital Hall. There, he played a selection of piano works by Claude Debussy and Maurice Ravel with which Oei actually also tells a story, that of two exceptional newcomers and what they have meant for piano music. The name of the concert was ‘A touch of Paris’. And you will get plenty of that touch.
