Performance by Adriana Mendez
Adriana Mendez is from Spain where she studied piano and cello. She continued her studies with Maarten Mostert at the Conservatory in Amsterdam. It was there that Adriana was introduced to the world of early music, which she immediately fell in love with. She is now pursuing her master’s degree in Baroque cello under Viola de Hoog and viola da gamba under Mieneke van der Velden.
Thanks to the National Musical Instruments Fund, she plays a beautiful 7-string viola da gamba. National Musical Instruments Fund.

The festival will take place on Saturday, February 25th at Tivoli Vredenburg and on January 26th at Muziekgebouw Amsterdam.
