Tonefloat Label news. On Monday 2 February the first label night of a series of three was on the agenda of the Tonefloat label from Rotterdam. Since the second half of the 90s, Tonefloat has been distributing unique sound and music arrangements. Often, the work is recorded on limited LPs with beautifully designed sleeves. This is the way music lovers looking for strange folk, dark ambient, industrial, noise and drone can satisfy their needs in a fitting manner.
Tonefloat starts off 2009 with two new releases. The "Tonefloat Sessions" have been recorded by Dirk Serries aka Fear Falls Burning and Theo Travis. These recordings are only available as LP. And "Two Way Mirror" is the third album on Tonefloat by Sand Snowman. "Two Way Mirror" is available as LP but also has a double CD version with an added extra: "The Magpie House" CD. The second Tonefloat presentation on 30 March 2009 in Verviers, Belgium; the third Tonefloat presentation on 1 April 2009 in Tilburg, the Netherlands.
