Armenia.

Komitas was all-in-one: a priest, singer, musicologist and composer. He collected more than 3,000 Armenian folk songs that form an important basis for the Armenian folk music of today. He was also one of the founders of Armenian classic music, of which Aram Khachaturian is the best-known composer.
