Madeleine Peyroux (1973) is an American jazz singer and guitar player. She is known for the sound of her voice, which is sometimes compared to Billie Holiday’s, but she was also inspired by artists like Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan. In July 2012, she performed at the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam along with her quartet.
