Disco Volante

The ancient musical heritage of central and South Italy is big, strong and ancient as are the traditions of Lazio, Puglia, Calabria, Sicily and Campania. For the next couple of months our journey through South Italy will be full of ritual songs, protest songs, work songs, satirical and love songs, lullabies and nursery rhymes. But it doesn’t stop there. There will also be a lot of modern and contemporary music like jazz, blues, pop, rock, reggae, electronica and avant-garde. Music will never be enough!
