#344. Independent sound art, radiophonic projects and other audio non-visual misunderstandings and findings. Radio Síquica EP80.
Nico Caaguasister is the singer of the famous weird cumbia group Los Siquicos Litoralenos, who visited the Worm/Klangendum studio on several occasions.
Nico lives in La Paz, which is quite far away from the other members of the group who live in Argentina (one of them, Diego, even lives in Patagonia). Nico promised to be the Dr. Klangendum-correspondent in Bolivia for any kind of weird music, and this is the first show he put together for us (and for some Argentinian broadcasts). More good stuff will follow!
Radio Síquica EP80.
An intense psychotronic journey through the South American backlands with Los Siquicos Litoralenos. You can expect lots of turbulence so tighten your seatbelts. And don’t let your dopamine thirsty digital anxiety win you over, because this one builds little by little – marching bands, cows, unforgettable Andean wonders, experiments in radio disruption, psychophasic Bolivianity, tunes from the Argentine Littoral and other great mysteries of the Southern Cone, subliminal messages and psycho-paranormal revelations.
Many thanks to Rogelio Kukumente. Germen de Trigo, DJ Surubi, Capitán Pixel, Dr Multiversal, Coco Xixi, and Don Pifostio.
Produced by Nicola Kokote. Photo & cover design by Elizabeta de los Montes.
